I tell my clients to pay special attention to their font choices--particularly the combination of those font choices for their brand/posts. As simple as a font may seem, it speaks volumes about the content you share.
So how can you select the perfect pair? I like to stick with a couple of tried and true methods:
Stick with legible fonts. Sure, the squiggly handwriting seems cute, but if I can't read what your post says I am likely to scroll past it and not give it another thought.
Make sure your fonts are different enough in weight and slant that they don't overlap awkwardly. If you have two fonts that are both thin and are italic to the right, then your message loses the oomph that utilizing two fonts provides in the first place.
This one is more my personal preference-- use one bold serious font and a playful light font. This can give you enough flexibility to still remain an impactful player with your posts without downplaying your relatability.
So without further ado, here are my personal favorite font combinations in Canva!
Daydream & Della Respira
Better Saturday & Breul Grotesk Light
Hatton Black & Halimum
Cubao Wide & Darker Grotesque
AC Cyberella & Cardo
